Environmental Action Alliance was privileged to be represented by Markdavis Munene, the executive director at the 4th Annual Women in Climate Change Conference at Makerere University Business School (MUBS)Nakawa in Kampala.
This highly impactful conference provided a platform to engage with various organizations, including the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). We had the opportunity to connect with Katerina Syngellakis, GGGI Regional Director for Africa, and Pablo Martinez, Country Director for Uganda, Angola, and Zambia,GIZ team, kimuli collection director Julliet and other organisations .
A key takeaway from the conference was the critical importance of innovation for sustainable growth, especially for organizations. By utilizing local materials to create products that can be marketed internationally, we can foster sustainable practices. It's crucial that we all focus on enhancing our innovative approaches to develop sustainable projects that also contribute to job creation.
